Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Zeytinburnu Municipality relieved jointly to approximately 18 thousand students have education in the district.
Within 2015-2016 academic year, students in primary and secondary education used gift tokens cost 30 TL were given in the schools to buy materials from stationery shops.
The aid, given by TDBB and Zeytinburnu Municipality, contributed significantly to school expenses of students and parents. Murat Aydın Deputy President of TDBB and Mayor of Zeytinburnu where numerous Turkistani families (especially Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Afghan) lives, said: “Our stationary support is an important investment for the students which are future of our country. We will get in return for this investment after years. This year, we gave stationary support to approximately 18 thousand student. Thus, we tried to help the parents by covering some stationary needs of students.”
