The book titled “Altai Communities: Animals and Farming” was published by the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB).

The 2023 application period for the Master’s and Doctoral Thesis Support Program of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) has begun.

TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak, who was in Kazakhstan for the ‘International Altai Communities Symposium’, which was held for the 11th time this year in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) was among the supporters, met with the executives of the Kazakhstan Association of Local Authorities on 5 July 2023.

The eleventh ‘International Altai Communities Symposium’, was held on July 4-7, 2023 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Symposium is traditionally held every two years in order to provide a better understanding of the civilizational structure and cultural values of the Altai communities, in which the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) is among the supporting institutions. This year the main theme was the ‘ Names of Places and Water in the Altai Nations’.

Twenty-ninth issue (Winter 2023) of the periodical titled “Local Agenda in Eurasia”, prepared in 3 languages (Turkish, English, Russian) as the quarterly Activity Bulletin of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) has been published..

The “Astana Sister Cities Forum” was held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, a member of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), within the framework of the “Capital Day” celebrated on July 6 every year.

Organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, a member of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), with the contributions of Keles Municipality, Bursa Governorate, TDBB, TURKSOY, Union of Bursa Culture, Tourism and Promotion, Turkish Traditional Sports Branches Federation, World Ethno Sports Confederation, to introduce the values of Turkish culture to future generations and strengthen the unity of heart of Turkish people, “6th Turkish World Ancestor Sports Festival” was held on 22-23 July 2023 in Bursa Keles Kocayayla.

The International Art Meeting, organized for the second time this year by Güzelyurt Municipality, a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), was held in Güzelyurt (TRNC) between 23-30 July 2023.
