The Student Dormitory, which was built on the Cemal Biyedic University campus in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and whose furnishing, furniture, kitchen equipment and landscaping was financed by the Konya Metropolitan, Selçuklu, Karatay and Meram Municipalities under the coordination of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), was opened with ceremony on September 1, 2023.

“Uzbekistan Local Governments Information and Experience Sharing Programme”, organized by the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) in cooperation with Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality and Şahinbey Municipality, was held between 3rd and 9th September 2023 in Balıkesir, Şahinbey (Gaziantep) and Istanbul.

“Information and Experience Sharing Program” organized by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) for Turkish Cypriot Municipalities in cooperation with Altındağ Municipality, Karatay Municipality and Selçuklu Municipality was held in Konya and Ankara on 6-10 September 2023.

The regional primary school built in the Kokoşçiçi village of Vareş city of Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), Selçuklu Municipality and Başiskele Municipality was opened with a ceremony held on September 2, 2023.

“Azerbaijan – Turkey Local Governments Experience Sharing Program”, organized in cooperation with the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), the Union of Azerbaijan City Municipalities and the Center for Working with Municipalities of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, was held via video conference on September 14, 2023.

With the cooperation of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Karatay Municipality, the restoration of the Islamic Community Foundation building located in Trebinje Municipality of Bosnia and Herzegovina was completed and opened with a ceremony held on September 2, 2023.

The 54th Conference of the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) and the 4th Forum of the International Council of Traditional Music and Dance (ICTMD) were hosted by Istanbul University, in cooperation with the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and the International Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation. It was held in Istanbul between 11-15 September 2023.

The September Executive Board Meeting of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) was held at the Union headquarters in Istanbul on September 6, 2023.

Doboj Istok Mayor Kemal Bratic, one of the members of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his accompanying delegation visited its sister city Tavşanlı Municipality and the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) on 6-10 September 2023.

Under the coordination of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), TDBB Administrative Board members, Turkey’s Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality and Uzbekistan’s Kokand Municipality signed the Sister City protocol at a ceremony held in Balıkesir on September 4, 2023.

Under the coordination of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), TDBB Board member Şahinbey Municipality of Turkey and TDBB Uzbekistan member Termez Municipality signed the Sister City Protocol at a ceremony held in Gaziantep on September 5, 2023.
