The 20th Anniversary Reception of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) was held in Istanbul on October 20, 2023, with the participation of Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) October Board of Directors Meeting was held at Ümraniye Municipality on 20 October 2023, with the participation of local administrators from 10 different countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, TRNC, Lebanon, Moldova Gagauzia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Turkey). It was hosted in Istanbul.

A declaration regarding Israel’s attacks on the Palestinian people of Gaza was read at the October Board of Directors Meeting of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), which was held in Istanbul on October 20, 2023, with the participation of local administrators from 10 different countries.

Yunus Emre Monument, which was built in cooperation with Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), Astana Embassy of the Republic of Turkey and Astana Governorship, a member of TDBB in Kazakhstan, was inaugurated on 26 October 2023 in Atatürk Park in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Gagauz Autonomous Region President Evghenia Gutul, who came to Istanbul for the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) Board of Directors Meeting and 20th Anniversary Reception, met with TDBB President Uğur İbrahim Altay and Secretary General Fahri Solak on October 20, 2023.

The Thirtieth issue of the periodical titled “Local Agenda in Eurasia”, prepared in 3 languages (Turkish, English, Russian) as the quarterly Activity Bulletin of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), has been published.

The 8th Turkish World Documentary Film Festival awards, of which the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) is among the project partners, were given to their owners at the ceremony held at TRT Arı Studios in Ankara on October 22, 2023.

Symposium titeled “Türkiye and the Turkic World International Social Sciences Symposium on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic” was held in cooperation with Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB),Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY). The symposium was hosted by Siirt University between 4th and 7th October 2023.

Turkish World Special Athletes Sports and Culture Festival, organized by Union of Turkish World Municipalities’ (TDBB) Administrative Board Member Silivri Municipality and Turkey Special Athletes Sports Federation, was held on 26-27 October 2023 with the participation of special athletes from 7 countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, TRNC, Kosovo, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Turkey).
