TDBB January 2026 Board of Directors Meeting Held in Gaziantep
The January Board of Directors Meeting of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) was held on 28 January 2026 in Gaziantep, hosted by Şahinbey Municipality, with the participation of local administrators from 9 different countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, TRNC, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Lebanon, Syria, and Türkiye).

Şahinbey Municipality and Güzelyurt Municipality Became Sister Cities
Under the coordination of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), a Sister City protocol was signed between Şahinbey Municipality and Güzelyurt Municipality (TRNC), both members of the TDBB Board of Directors, on 28 January 2026 in Gaziantep.

Financial Support from Karatay Municipality to Its Sister City Hebron Municipality (Palestine)
Within the scope of the support project for Palestine initiated in cooperation with the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and its member municipalities, Karatay Municipality, a member of the TDBB Board of Directors, provided financial support to its sister city Hebron Municipality in Palestine.
