The awards of the 10th Turkic World Documentary Film Festival, of which the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) is one of the project partners, were presented at a ceremony hosted by the Ankara City Council on October 24, 2025.

The Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) was elected to the United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA) Board of Directors and the UCLG World Council during the UCLG-MEWA Congress held in Konya on October 3–5, 2025.

The October Board of Directors Meeting of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) was held in Konya on October 2, 2025, hosted by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, with the participation of local administrators from six different countries (Azerbaijan, TRNC, Lebanon, Moldova Gagauzia, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye).

An international conference titled "Current Problems and Development Perspectives of Local Governments: Kazakhstan and International Experience" was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a member of the Union of Turkic World Municipalities (TDBB), in collaboration with Kunaev University and the Union of Local Governments of Kazakhstan. TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak attended the conference online and delivered a speech titled "The Role of Municipal Unions in Strengthening Local Governments: The TDBB Example."

In North Macedonia, one of the Balkan members of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), citizens went to the polls on Sunday, October 19, 2025, to elect mayors and municipal council members. TDBB Executive Board Member and Mayor of Tetova (Kalkandelen), Bilal Kasami, was re-elected with approximately 54.77 % of the votes.

Citizens of Kosovo, a Balkan member of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), went to the polls on Sunday, October 12, 2025, to elect mayors and municipal council members.
