The book titled “Altai Communities: Place and Water Names” has been published by the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB). The volume consists of papers presented at the 11th International Symposium on Altai Communities, hosted by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and supported by TDBB among other institutions. It features 73 papers by around 180 Altai studies scholars from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Russian Federation, Japan, India, and Europe.

The eighth edition of the internship programs jointly organized by the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University was held in Istanbul between 07-31 July 2025.

It is known that every student who studies at Kyrgyzstan–Türkiye Manas University has a dream at least once to go abroad. At Manas University, every year the Turkish World Municipalities Union (TDBB) makes this dream come true for five successful students.

The Turkish Culture Program for High School Students Receiving Turkish Education in North Macedonia, organized by the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) in cooperation with MATÜSİTEB, TİKA and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, was held in Istanbul, Konya, Edirne and Çanakkale between 20 July and 3 August, 2025.

Bağcılar Municipality, a member of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), hosted students from its sister city, Jeti-Ögüz Municipality of Kyrgyzstan, at its camp facilities in Kefken, Kocaeli, between August 11–16, 2025.

The 35th International Culture and Garlic Festival, organized by the Municipality of Taşköprü, a member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), was held between August 14–17, 2025, in the Taşköprü district of Kastamonu. Dance groups from Mexico, Ukraine, Greece, Poland, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus also participated in the program, which took place at Cumhuriyet Square.

The “Green Space Management in Municipalities” expert training program for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Živinice Municipality was organized by the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) in cooperation with Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and Başiskele Municipality, and was held in Kocaeli and Istanbul between 04–08 August 2025.
