7th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), which aims at cooperation and solidarity in the field of Local Governments in friendly and sister countries with 1,214 Member Municipalities from 30 different countries, was held in Istanbul on April 26, 2025 with an intense participation.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) April Executive Board Meeting was held in Istanbul on April 26, 2025 hosted by Zeytinburnu Municipality with the participation of local authorities from 11 different countries (Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, TRNC, North Macedonia, Lebanon, Mongolia, Moldova Gagauz Autonomous Region and Turkey).

The Azerbaijani Member Municipalities Delegation, which is in Istanbul for the 7th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) to be held on April 26, 2025, visited TDBB.

Mongolian Member Municipalities Delegation, which was in Istanbul for the 7th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) held on April 26, 2025, visited TDBB. During the meeting with Secretary General Fahri Solak at the Union Headquarters, Sister City / Delegation Visits and Experience Sharing Programs to be held mutually between the two countries in the new period were discussed.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities’ (TDBB) “2024 Annual Report” has been published in Turkish, English and Russian.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) Bosnia and Herzegovina member Jablanica Mayor Emir Muratovic and his accompanying delegation visited TDBB. During the meeting, Joint Projects and Cooperation Opportunities within the framework of Sister City Relationship with Municipalities of Turkey were evaluated

Visiting the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), Yertai ORAL, the President of Ulgi Municipality Council of the Mongolian Bayan Ulgi Province, met with General Secretary Fahri Solak. Sister City Relations and Cooperation Opportunities were Evaluated during the meeting.

Visiting the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), Natalia Popova, Mayor of Tülüktüü (Etulia) from the Gagauz Autonomous Region of Moldova, met with Secretary General Fahri Solak. During the meeting, cooperation and joint project opportunities on TDBB membership and sister city relations were evaluated.

Aktau city of Kazakhstan, a member of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), which was elected as the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” in 2025 with the unanimous vote of the Ministers of Culture of the Turkic World, hosted the opening events held on April 5, 2025.
