“Uzbekistan Member Municipalities Information and Experience Sharing Program” organized by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) in cooperation with Yuksalish Institution of Uzbekistan, Konya Metropolitan, Gebze, Pendik, Selçuklu and Zeytinburnu Municipalities was held in Konya, Kocaeli and Istanbul on 9-15 February 2025.

Mayor of Gračanica, Sadmir Džebo, one of the members of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his delegation visited Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) on February 21, 2025. In addition to Mayor Džebo, the delegation included Rahim Gačić, MP of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hamzalija Okanović, President of Emmaus Association and other officials.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) February Executive Board Meeting was held on February 26, 2025 via video conference.

Mohammad Jarar, one of the Palestinian members of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), Mayor of Jenin and Member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Union of Local Governments (APLA), visited TDBB. In the meeting with TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak at the Union Headquarters, the Signing of the Cooperation Protocol with the Palestinian Union of Local Governments (APLA), the Joint Project Opportunities that can be carried out within the framework of the TDBB Membership and Sister Cities Relationship of Palestinian Municipalities were discussed.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) members, Konya Metropolitan Municipality (Turkey) and Samarkand (Uzbekistan) Municipality became sister cities with a ceremony held in Konya on February 10, 2025.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) members, Zeytinburnu (Turkey) Municipality and Navoiy (Uzbekistan) Municipality became sister cities with a ceremony held in Zeytinburnu on February 12, 2025.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) members, Pendik (Türkiye) Municipality and Shahrisebz (Uzbekistan) Municipality became sister cities with a ceremony held in Pendik on February 14, 2025.

The General Assembly of the Union of Local Authorities of Kyrgyzstan, a member of the Executive Board of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), was held in Bishkek on February 10, 2025. Bekcan Usenaliev, Chairman of the Assembly of Bishkek Metropolitan Municipality was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union. In addition, the 9-member Board of Directors of the Union, consisting of representatives of 7 provinces and Bishkek and Osh Metropolitan Municipalities, was also elected.
