The Cooperation Protocol between Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Union of Local Governments of Kazakhstan was signed at a ceremony held at the Union’s Headquarters in Istanbul on 26 February 2024. The protocol was signed by Secretary General Fahri Solak on behalf of TDBB and by President Erkinbek Rakimbaev on behalf of Union of Local Governments of Kazakhstan.

A Video Conference was held with the Officials of Uzbekistan Yükseliş National Institution, one of the Partner Organizations of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB). During the meeting, new memberships to TDBB from Uzbekistan in 2024, Sister Cities and Possible Joint Projects were discussed.

Kyrgyzstan’s Jeti Öğüz Mayor Ermek Bahavadınov and his accompanying delegation visited the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) on 14 February 2024.

A Video Conference was held with the Officials of the Uzbekistan Ministry of Labor, Mahallabay Work and Entrepreneurship Development Agency, one of the Partner Organizations of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB). During the meeting, joint works that could be carried out in 2024 were discussed.

Organized in cooperation with the Union of Turkish Cypriot Municipalities (KTBB) and the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB), the photography exhibition with the theme “Before Traces Disappear” was held in Ankara between 04-31 January 2024 and in Istanbul on 21-29 February 2024.

Under the coordination of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), a sister city protocol was signed between Bağcılar (Turkey) Municipality and Jeti Ögüz (Kyrgyzstan) Municipality at a ceremony held in Bağcılar Municipality on February 13, 2024.
