A Cooperation Protocol was signed between the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and the Mostar Islamic Comunity of Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 7, 2026, at a ceremony held at the Union’s headquarters in Istanbul.
The protocol was signed by TDBB Secretary General Taha Zahid Özdemir and the President of the Mostar Islamic Comunity, Dr. Džafer Alić. Mostar Islamic Union Assembly Member Harun Kurtoviç was also present at the signing ceremony.
Under the signed protocol, the parties will conduct joint work on organizing cultural and educational events, exchanging information, experts, and students, developing joint research and artistic projects, promoting cooperation in the fields of culture, art, and science, and supporting young artists and researchers.
