The “Specialist Training Program for Preschool Education Administrators of Kyrgyzstan,” organized by the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) in cooperation with the Roza Otunbaeva Foundation of Kyrgyzstan, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, Başakşehir Municipality, and Istanbul Medeniyet University, was completed with presentations and field visits held in Istanbul on 17–21 November 2025.
The Specialist Training Program was attended by Tokonova Indira, Expert of the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Education, Department of Preschool Education; Tentieva Elmira, Project Development Specialist at the Yayla Development Center; Osipa Sabırovna, Director of At-Başı Village Kindergarten and Child Development Center in Naryn; Akbermet Şadmanova, Director of Çandeki Village Kindergarten and Child Development Center in Batken; Aytkulieva Keneşkan, Director of Ak-Suu Village Kindergarten and Child Development Center in Issyk-Kul; Dıykanova Baktıgül, Director of Kızıl-Suu Village Kindergarten and Child Development Center in Issyk-Kul; Dosmatova Cumagul, Director of Kızıl-Bulak Village Kindergarten and Child Development Center in Osh; Kambaralieva Camila, Expert at the Bazar-Korgon District Directorate of Education in Jalal-Abad; Asanbekova Anipa, Expert at the Koçkor District Directorate of Education in Naryn; and İskandarova Zuura, Specialist at the “International Roza Otunbaeva Foundation.”
On the first day of the program, 18 November 2025, the delegation visited Istanbul Medeniyet University and was received by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Gülfettin Çelik. Following the official meeting, a presentation was held at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Department of Preschool Teaching, and a field visit was conducted at the application kindergarten.
On the second day of the program, the educators visited Başakşehir Municipality’s “Mother-Child Center” and “Başakşehir Muftiate Arzugüney Qur’an Course.” The delegation toured the nursery, received information from the educators about the values education provided to children, and conducted a field visit.
On Thursday, 20 November 2025, the participants visited Bakırköy Adalet Kindergarten, which is affiliated with the Ministry of National Education (MEB), listened to a presentation explaining how the children are educated and what activities are carried out, and conducted a field visit.
On the final day of the program, Friday, 21 November, the delegation toured the historical and cultural sites of Istanbul. Afterwards, they visited TDBB and met with Secretary General Fahri Solak. The delegation was informed about the union’s activities and the program. The educators stated that the program had been very beneficial for them, that they had learned very useful information, and that they would try to implement the exemplary practices they observed here in Kyrgyzstan. They expressed their gratitude to TDBB and all the institutions and organizations that contributed to the program. Following the meeting, certificates were presented to the educators and a commemorative group photo was taken.
The program was completed on the same day with the delegation’s return to their country.
