Under the coordination of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), financial support was provided by Konya’s Selçuklu and Karatay Municipalities to cover the annual expenses of the residents of the nursing home built in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The nursing home, constructed in cooperation with Selçuklu Municipality and Karatay Municipality and inaugurated in 2022 in Potočari for the mothers of martyrs who lost their lives in the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide, received support to cover the living expenses of its residents for one year.
This assistance, carried out under the coordination of TDBB, is part of Turkish municipalities’ efforts to strengthen historical, cultural, and humanitarian ties with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The support aims to improve the living conditions of the women residing in the Potočari nursing home and to ensure they continue their lives in a peaceful environment.
