Within the scope of the “Stationery Aid” project carried out by Zeytinburnu Municipality in collaboration with the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), stationery shopping vouchers were distributed to students in need living in Zeytinburnu, including many families of Kazakh, Kyrgyz, and Afghan origin, as well as other Turkic communities.
Under the jointly organized “Stationery Aid” project by TDBB and Zeytinburnu Municipality, approximately 20,000 primary school students received gift vouchers. Each voucher, worth 500 TL, can be used at 26 stationery stores within the Zeytinburnu district.
The project, carried out in cooperation between TDBB and Zeytinburnu Municipality, not only supports students’ educational needs but also helps ease the financial burden on low-income families.
During the project, vouchers were distributed daily at different schools. Each voucher includes a serial number registered in the student’s name. Thanks to these serial numbers, students can go to the participating stationery stores with their IDs and make purchases up to the specified amount. This initiative brought smiles to parents’ faces and was particularly appreciated by low-income families.
