As part of the “Stationery Aid” project implemented by Zeytinburnu Municipality in cooperation with Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), stationery shopping vouchers were distributed to students in need living in Zeytinburnu district, where many Turkestani families, including those of Kazakh, Kyrgyz, and Afghan origin live.
As part of the “Stationery Aid” project jointly organized by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Zeytinburnu Municipality, gift vouchers were distributed to approximately 20,000 primary school students. The vouchers, worth 400 TL each, can be used at 26 stationery shops within Zeytinburnu district.
The “Stationery Aid” project, carried out in collaboration with Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Zeytinburnu Municipality, not only supported students’ educational needs but also contributed to the budgets of low-income families.
In the project where stationery vouchers are distributed at different schools each day, the vouchers given to students include serial numbers issued in their names. With these serial numbers, students can visit designated stationery stores in the district with their IDs and shop for the specified amount at the participating stores. This initiative, which has brought smiles to parents’ faces, has been particularly well-received by low-income families.
