The “2023 Activity Report” of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) was published in Turkish, English and Russian.
The 2023 Activity Report of the Union of Turkic World Municipalities (TDBB) includes a summary of the organization’s corporate information and its activities such as the “20th Anniversary Reception of TDBB” held in Istanbul on October 20, 2023, with the participation of Numan Kurtulmuş, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), attended by ambassadors, consuls general, bureaucrats, mayors, local administrators, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and many other guests from over 20 countries, “TDBB Palestine Declaration,” condemning the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, as well as collaboration projects such as the restoration of the “Trebinje Islamic Union Foundation Building” in Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with Karatay Municipality, the “Mostar Cemal Biyediç University Student Dormitory Project” in collaboration with Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Selçuklu, Karatay, and Meram Municipalities, the opening of the “Kokoşçiçi Village School Project” in collaboration with Selçuklu and Başiskele Municipalities, the provision of vehicles for the EMMAUS Student Dormitory in Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with Selçuklu Municipality, the renovation and environmental arrangement project of the “Kusein Karasaev Museum” in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan, in collaboration with Karakol Municipality and sister cities of Karakol in Turkey, and the completion of the “Astana Yunus Emre Monument” in collaboration with the Republic of Turkey Embassy in Astana and the Astana Governorate.
2023 Activity Report of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) also includes Information and Experience Sharing Programs held in 2023 for local administrators from 6 member countries (Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan) through face-to-face and video conference methods. The report also covers administrative meetings of the Union, programs organized and supported through collaboration, ‘printed publications’, participation in international events, representations and visits, ‘Financial Information’, newly joined municipalities in 2023, coordinated ‘Sister City Activities’, ‘activities of TDBB members related to the Turkish World’, and ‘TDBB in Press’.
