Culture House and Youth Center established in Gagauz Autonomous Region, Moldova by the member of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) Altındağ Municipality was opened within the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Moldova on 18 October 2018 with a ceremony.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Emine Erdoğan, President of Moldova Igor Dodon, President of the Gagauz Autonomous Region Irina Vlah, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Kasapoğlu, Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Fatma Şahin, Mayor of Altındağ Veysel Tiryaki, Mayor of Comrat Serghei Anastasov and many citizens.

Following the joint press conference, President Erdogan, Mayor Tiryaki and delegation members cut the opening ribbon of the Culture Center which was renewed by Altındağ Municipality. President Erdogan stated that “We are here with a huge group. Our friends are here. Mayor of Gaziantep and Mayor of Altındağ are here… There are also presidents of many institutions here. Our institutions have invested many projects in Gagauzia and they will continue to do this. We will ensure them to you soon, I hope. I would like to thank you very much for the interest you have shown, on behalf of myself and my people.” President Erdogan also announced that Turkey will continue to invest Gagauz Autonomous Region.

Veysel Tiryaki stated that they established a culture center for youth and a nursing home for elderly and also took over the restoration of a culture center in Gagauz Autonomous Region and he added that “I am pleased that the openings of our investments which were completed in a very short time were made by our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife. I believe that three thousand square meters of cultural center, 1,200 square meters of nursing house and restoration of the culture center make the friendship between us will be eternal”.
