Balkan Countries Turkey Program Ended
Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB)'s Information and Technology Sharing Program themed as "Waste Management/ Recycling and Employment Applications in Local Governments" organized for member municipalities in Balkan countries with the cooperation of TIKA Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, was completed.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) February Executive Board Meeting was held in February 17, 2015 in Kartepe, hosted by Mayor of Kartepe Hüseyin Üzülmez.
Kyrgyzstan Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism was in TDBB
The delegation under the leadership Republic of Kyrgyzstan Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Maksat Çakiev visited TDBB. The delegation consisted of Kyrgyzstan Istanbul Consul General Renat Tüleberdiev, President of World Ethnic Games Public Foundation Askhat Akibaev and his Vice President Sergey Danilenko, and President of 'Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Business Council Azamat Camankulov.
Turkish World Press Delegation Visited TDBB
Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) hosted 18 press members coming from Azerbaijan, Bashkortostan, Daghistan, Khakassia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, TRNC, Macedonia, Tatarstan and Turkmenistan.
UCLG-MEWA's Workshop "Opening Channels" Completed
One of the cooperative institutions of TDBB, United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA)'s Workshop "Opening Channels" organized in corporation with Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) was held on 26 February 2015 with the context of culture-art problem of local governments.
Turkish World Met in Bosnia and Herzegovina Winter Festival
Within the framework of Winter Festival, organized this year for the 31st time in Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sazgen Sazy Kazakhstan Folk Instruments Traditional Turkish World Music Concert and 'Turkish World from Altais to Balkans' Art Exhibition were performed with the cooperation of Municipality of Keçiören, TURKSOY (International Organization of Turkic Culture), Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) AND Yunus Emre Institute.
Schedule of March

* Training Program themed as "Solid Waste Management and Recycling Applications in Local Governments" will take place in Istanbul and Kocaeli on 08-14 March 2015 with the participation of 16 experts from 7 different countries.

* With the cooperation of Kyrgyzstan Istanbul Consulate General, there will take place a concert in Bahçelievler Cultural Center on 08 March 2015, with the participation of Kyrgyz artists within the concept of International Women's Day activities.

* Information and Experience Sharing Program themed as "Organized Industrial Zones and Management of Parks, Gardens and Green Fields in Local Development" will take place in Istanbul and Kocaeli on15-21 March 2015 with the participation of 22 municipal executives from Tatarstan.

* Kyrgyzstan İstanbul Consul General Renat Tüleberdiyev visited the Union. During the meeting with Secretary General Fahri Solak, the parties exchanged opinions about joint projects planned to be done in the common months. (02.02.2015)

* Mayor of Madan/ Bulgaria Fahri Molaysenov and his delegation visited the Union. The meeting made with the delegation of Madan Municipality, whose sister city is Zeytinburnu Municipality, was hosted by Vice President of TDBB and also Mayor of Zeytinburnu Municipality. (20.02.2015)
