“The Role of Municipalities in the Pandemic Process” Information and Experience Sharing Program between local governments of Turkey and Uzbekistan was conducted by video-conferencing On November 23, 2020, cooperatively by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Presidency of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

Local elections were held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a member of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), on 15 November 2020. Mayor of Novi Grad Semir Efendic who is a member of the TDBB Board of Administration was re-elected in the local elections.

Members of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), Karasu Municipality (Sakarya) and Kyrgyzstan’s Osh Province Kara-Suu Municipality signed “Sister City” protocol at the ceremony held on November 19, 2020, under the coordination of TDBB.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality provided support on landscaping and equipment to its sister city Famagusta for the Varosha region which has been closed for 46 years in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and has started to be opened gradually with the decision.
