The “Islamic Union Building Renovation Project” carried out by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) in cooperation with the Islamic Union and Kljuc Municipality in Kljuc, Bosnia and Herzegovina was completed and opened with a ceremony held on 23 October 2020.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) published book composed of the texts of the reports presented at the symposium titled “Russia & Turkey – Bilateral Relations in International Context” which was organized by Istanbul University and Lomonosov Moscow State University and supported by TDBB on 19-20 October 2018 in Moscow.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) Administrative Board Meeting was made via video conference method, with the participation of 18 local authorities from 4 different countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Turkey) on 20 October 2020.

The newly elected Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Ankara Adis Alagic and Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bursa Muzaffer Çilek visited Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) on 1 October 2020.

Parliament Member of Lebanon Fayssal Karame and Consul General of Lebanon in Istanbul Mazen Kabbara visited Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) on 01 October 2020. During the visit, cooperation opportunities and possible joint projects were discussed in the meeting with Secretary General of TDBB Fahri Solak.

The park named after Major General Polad Hashimov who died in Armenia’s attack on Azerbaijani territory built by Osmangazi Municipality (Bursa) which is a member of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), was opened with a ceremony on 28 October 2020.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality provided 180 thousand masks to its sister city Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
