The new Consul General of the Republic of Kosovo in Istanbul Suzan Novobrdalija visited Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) on 31 August 2020.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) August Executive Board Meeting was held on 14 August 2020 in Balıkesir with the hosting of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities had 11 new members; 5 of them from Palestine, 2 from Bosnia Herzegovina, 1 of each from Turkey, Kosovo and North Macedonia and also Union of Mongolian Local Governments, in the first half of 2020.

Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) sent a condolence message after the explosion in Beirut port, the capital of Lebanon, on 5 August 2020.
