1 st EURASIA LOCAL GOVERNMENTS CONGRESS
“Development of Cooperation Strategies”
15–17 NOVEMBER 2008/İSTANBUL
 

OBJECTIVES OF CONGRESS
Eurasia Local Governments Congress” wil be held in cooperation of Union of Turkish World Municipalities and Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency with the participation of international organizations, local government represantatives of central administration, urban authorities and academics from Turkey and various countries on 15-17 November 2008.
 
The main aim is to lay groundwork for transmission of experience and to maintain cooperation among local governments units in devoloping countries on matters of new developments in administration.   
Cooperation and dialog among local governments will be developed; necessary measures will be argued to maintain permanent communication and pursuit platform will be constructed to follow-up new developments in local governments.
