Cooperatively by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Beşir Humanitarian Aid Foundation, Ramadan aid boxes were distributed to the needy people in Kızıl-Kıya District of Kyrgyzstan.
With the field organization of Beshir Foundation, the distribution ceremony of Ramadan aid boxes of basic foodstuff, which were provided by Union of Turkish World Municipalities, was shown deep interest by the people of Kyzyl-Kıya. Also a member of TDBB, Mayor of Kyzyl-Kiya Municipality Abish Halmurzaev both accompanied the determination of needy people in the community and attended the aid distribution ceremony. In the speech he made in the ceremony, Mayor of Kyzyl-Kiya Halmurzaev pointed out the historical bonds and amity between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, and thanked to Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) on behalf of Kyzyl-Kiya people, for the aid distribution they organized.
Kyzyl-Kiya is one of the biggest district centers of Batken Province on the south of Kyrgyzstan. Established in 1898 and gained its city status in 1938, Kyzyl-Kiya has the population of 50.000 people. Coal, tobacco and foodstuff have important place in city economy.
