Organized every year on May by Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) and also supported by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), 8th Workshop on Communication with the Future was held between 20 and 24 May 2016 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) and Almaty (Kazakhstan), with the cooperation of Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Office of the Prime Minister Directorate General of Press and Information (BYEGM), Prime Ministry Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Office of the Prime Minister Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Directorate General of Anadolu Agency (AA), Directorate General of TRT, International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY), Governorate of Almaty, and Almaty Al-Farabi University.
In the Workshop, participated by 53 people from 16 countries with the main theme determined as “Handling of Refugees on Media through Human Rights Dimension”, panels and workshop works were made on themes as “To become a Refugee Mother and Child” and “Environment and History Relation”, in addition to the main theme. The Workshop ended on 24 May 2016 after the final declaration.
