High Advisory Board Meeting of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), which is held once in every three months, was made on 30 March 2015 in Headquarters of the Union.
The meeting was attended by the members of Advisory Board who are Prof. Osman Horata (Ahmet Yesevi University Chairman of the Board of Trustees), Prof. A. Burçin Yereli (Hacettepe University Academic Member), Prof. Adem Esen (Istanbul University Academic Member), Prof. Rahmi Deniz ÖZBAY (Marmara University Academic Member) and Dr. Özgen Keskin, PhD (Former Mayor of Yıldırım Municipality).
The meeting started with the briefing of Secretary General Fahri Solak on the on-going and future-planned activities since the meeting on December 2014 and continued with the discussion of the topics on the agenda. In the meeting opinion exchange was made about the scope and the functioning of Turkish World Local Governments Academy, possible programs that can be carried out with the cooperation of Ahmet Yesevi University, the youth cultural trip themed as “Cultural Route from Establishment to Independence and Ottoman Capitals” within the framework of Çanakkale Victory’s Centenary, and Union’s planned activities and internship programs that will take place to support Turkish World Studies.
