Staff of Union of Turkish World Municipalties (TDBB), was trained in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Fire Brigade First Aid and Life-Saving Section Training Center.

In the two-day training program, the participators had information about general first aid principles, observation of sick or wounded individual and scene of accident, artificial ventilation and cardiac message, first aid in wounding and bleeding, first aid in burn, frezing and heat stroke, first aid in fracture,disclocation and sprain, first aid in unconsciousness, first aid in poisoning, first aid in animal attacks, first aid in foreign body in eye, ear and nose, first aid in drowning  and techniques of wounded/ sick person carrying.

The trainers underlined the importance of first aid in increasing the life chance of the sick or wounded person and preventing the disabilities that can occur after the accident; they also stressed that the first aid practice which is made properly can save life.

At the end of the training the staff was given first aid training certificates by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Fire Brigade First Aid and Life-Saving Section.
