The seventh program in cooperation with the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University was held in Istanbul on 17 July – 11 August 2023.
Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Department of Economics Students Aisana Sarıeva and Kunduz Tamchybekova, Business Administration Student Gulzar Shailoobaı Kyzy, International Relations Department Student Saule Bargyeva, Finance and Banking Department Student Alina Saparbekova participated in TDBB 2023 internship program.
Working in different units of TDBB, students closely followed how international local government relations work, international correspondence procedures, how sister city relations were established and how TDBB’s work progressed.
Students also examined the works of our member municipalities, Sancaktepe Municipality Financial Services Directorate, Beykoz Municipality Social Affairs Directorate, Ümraniye Municipality Human Resources and Education Directorate and Bayrampaşa Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate.
In addition, 2023 Internship students visited the historical and touristic places of Konya with a two-day Konya city tour hosted by Konya Metropolitan Municipality.
The internship program was completed with the students receiving their participation certificates at the ceremony held at the TDBB headquarters on August 11, 2023.
