Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) July Executive Board Meeting was held on 20 July 2023 at the Union headquarters in Istanbul.
The meeting, chaired by President of TDBB and also Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay, attended by TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak, TDBB Executive Board members Mayor of Zeytinburnu Ömer Arısoy, Mayor of Beykoz Murat Aydın and Mayor of Başiskele Mehmet Yasin Özlü.
The meeting continued with TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak giving information about the work carried out since the Administrative Board meeting on 20 June 2023 and the agenda, and discussion of the agenda items.
Within this framework, it was decided to hold TDBB September Extended Administrative Board meeting in Uzbekistan, to organize Sister City Protocol Signing Ceremony between Çolpan-Ata (Kyrgyzstan) and Başiskele (Turkey) Municipalities in Başiskele, to organize TDBB 20th Anniversary Reception in Istanbul in the first half of October, to realize the Reconstruction Project of the House Destroyed by the Occupation in Hebron (Palestine) in cooperation with TDBB and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, to carry out Experience Sharing Program for Uzbekistan Local Administrators in August with the cooperation of Şahinbey and Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipalities, to support “International Yoruk Festival” which will be held in North Macedonia on 29-30 July 2023 by Radovic Municipality, to support “15th East Turkistan Brotherhood Meeting” event which will be held in Ankara on September 15-18, 2023, by the East Turkistan Education and Solidarity Association and Submission of the membership application made by Mihalıççık (Eskişehir) Municipality to TDBB Administrative Board with a favorable opinion.
