Local elections were held in Albania, a member of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), on 14 May 2023.

In the elections, where the number of voters was 3,650,550, the turnout remained at 34 percent. 144 mayor and 23,762 city council candidates competed in the elections.

According to the results, the Socialist Party, led by Prime Minister Edi Rama, won 50 of the 61 municipalities.

In the local elections, the Socialist Party took the lead in major cities including Tirana. “Together We Will Win” coalition formed by the opposition parties won 11 mayor positions.
