Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) October Executive Board Meeting was held on 20 October 2022 by video conference method.
The meeting, under the chairmanship of President of TDBB and Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay, was attended by TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak, TDBB Executive Board members, Mayor of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Yücel Yılmaz, Mayor of Zeytinburnu Ömer Arısoy and Mayor of Başiskele Yasin Özlü.
The meeting continued with TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak giving information about the work carried out since the Executive Board meeting on 19 September 2022 and the agenda, and discussion of the agenda items.
Within this framework, it was decided to support the “International Conference on Sustainable Tourism, Pilgrimage and Sacred Heritage” to be held in Kazakhstan on 26-28 October 2022 by the Turkestan (Kazakhstan) Governorate, and the “3. Eurasia Law Congress” that will be held in Montenegro on 02-05 November 2022 in cooperation with TDBB and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, to realize “Contribution to Annual Expenses of Bosnia and Herzegovina Srebrenica Student Dormitory Project” in cooperation with TDBB and Selçuklu Municipality, to participate in the “Srebrenica Mothers Nursing Home Complex Opening Ceremony” to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 23 October 2022, to participate on behalf of TDBB in the “UCLG-MEWA Board of Directors Meeting” to be held in Gebze on 23-24 November 2022, to organize an information and experience sharing program for TDBB Moldova Gagauz Autonomous Region Member Mayors, to submit the membership application made by the Municipality of Nileen (Palestine) to TDBB to the Administrative Board with a favorable opinion, to evaluate TDBB Graduate Thesis Support Program 2022 applications at the High Advisory Board Meeting in December.
In addition, it was decided to hold the TDBB Administrative Board Meeting in November, hosted by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, in Konya, and the TDBB High Advisory Board 2022 Meeting to be held at the TDBB Headquarters in December.
