Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) Board Member Beykoz Municipality provided salary support to the employees in Palestine’s Beit Hanun Municipality in cooperation with TDBB and Turkish Red Crescent.
TDBB members Beykoz Municipality and Beit Hanun Municipality (Gaza) became sister cities with a ceremony held in Beykoz on 25 October 2021. With the establishment of the sister city relationship, one month’s salaries of the personnel working in the Beit Hanun Municipality were paid by the Beykoz Municipality under the coordination of TDBB.
The organization of the salary aid provided by Beykoz Municipality in cooperation with TDBB was carried out by the Red Crescent Gaza branch on February 03, 2022.
With the aid, a total salary support of $ 48,751 was provided to 96 employees of the Beit Hanun Municipality operating in the Gaza Strip of Palestine.
