Organized with the hosting of Municipality of Karatay, member of Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB), “54th Konya Minstrels’ Festival with the Love of Karabakh” was held on December 27, 2020 with the interactive participation of 4 minstrels from Konya and 6 folk poets from abroad. The program was organized this year with the theme of “Love of Karabakh” due to the liberation of Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia. The program, which was held without an audience due to the pandemic, was gifted to Azerbaijan for the liberation of the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia.
“54th Konya Minstrels’ Festival with the Love of Karabakh”, which was held without an audience due to the corona virus epidemic, was attended by 4 minstrels from Konya who are Arif İnan Yıldırım with the pseudonym Yağız Ozan, Ahmet Yıldırım with the pseudonym Aşık Zikri Aliyar and Öksüz Ozan and Hüseyin Çiftçi with the pseudonym Aşık Bizari.
In addition to folk poets from Konya, Efgan Şamilov and Nargile Mehdiyeva from Georgia Borçalı, Kemale Kubatlı, Mubariz Aliyeva, Gülara Azaplı and Hafız Kerimov from Baku, Azerbaijan participated interactively to the “54th Konya Minstrels’ Festival with the Love of Karabakh”.
In the program, beautiful poems and folk songs were sung by minstrels and folk bards due to the liberation of the Azerbaijani lands occupied by Armenia.
