Kyrgyzstan Pre-School Educators Expert Training Program, organized by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) in cooperation with Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, and member municipalities which are Bahçelievler, Esenler, Kartal, Pendik and Sarıyer, was completed in Istanbul between 16-22 February 2020 with the presentations and site visits.
The program was attended by Roza Otunbaeva Foundation Deputy General Manager Roza Kaiykova, Vice President of Public Administration Department of Talas District Zina Baialieva, Editor in Chief of the Public Broadcasting Organization of National Kyrgyz Republic “First Radio” Taalaigul Sydykbekova, Head of Education Department of Çon-Alay District Pazyl Baktybaev, Manager of Janı-Talap Nursery and Development Center Zhenishkul Mursalieva, Manager of Kara-Köy High School and Development Center Kyzaiym Zairova, Manager of Kırgız-Kıştak Nursery and Organizer of Workshops in the Development Center Azada Arzybaeva, Manager of Children Education Center and Development Center in Teploklyuçenko District Gulnar Abykeeva, Manager of Baş-Kayındı Nursery and Development Center Nurzat Bakelova, Manager of Nur-Ayım Nursery and Development Center Kurmanzhan Murashova, Head of Kara-Bak Pasture Committee of Zardalı Village Zhanibek Tulanov and Manager of Jaş-Tilek Nursery and Development Center Aitilla Turatova.
In the first day of the program delegation visited Bahçelievler Kocasinan Nursery. During this visit, Deputy Mayor of Bahçelievler Helin Görgül was with the group and pre-school activities and services of Bahçelievler Municipality were examined. Afterwards, delegation visited activity tent which was made for children by Bahçelievler Municipality, there the group met with Mayor of Bahçelievler Hakan Bahadır. In the same day group visited TDBB and met with TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak. The group was informed about the program and TDBB activities.
In the second day of the program, Kyrgyz educators visited “Family and Child Education Center” of Pendik Municipality. There they were informed about the center’s activities and examined the classrooms and the educational method of the center. In the same day afternoon, Kyrgyz delegation visited Kartal Municpality and met with Vice Mayor of Kartal Municipality Mustafa Oktay Aksu. Then they visited and examined Nurseries of Kartal Municipality and Fairy Tale Museum.
On 19 February Wednesday, delegation visited Küçükçekmece Papatya Nursery and Küçükçekmece Municipality Nursery. There, Manager of Küçükçekmece National Education Branch İsa Kanıcı and Director of Papatya Nursery were with the group and examined the activities together.
In the fourth day of the program, participants visited Bakırköy Adalet Nursery. Director of the school and manager of the prison were with the group and they explained the group that how they educate children in the nursery. In the same day educators went to Bahçeşehir Nursery, got informed about education method of the nursery and came together with the children.
In the last day of the program on 21 February 2020 Friday, the group visited nurseries of Sarıyer Municipality and the staff of Sarıyer’s nurseries were with the group. In the same day afternoon, the delegation visited Esenler Municipality’ Esma Biltacı Mother and Child Education Center.
The certificate ceremony and closing dinner were hosted by Esenler Municipality. Besides the Kyrgyz delegation, TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak and Deputy Mayor of Esenler Municipality Abdulkadir Şengör attended to the ceremony. At the closing dinner, the educators expressed that the program was very beneficial for them and they learned very useful information. Also, they expressed that they will try to apply the samples they see here in Kyrgyzstan and thanked TDBB and cooperated municipalities and organizations that are contributed to the program.
The program was concluded with participants’ return to Kyrgyzstan after Istanbul city tour held in 22 February 2020, Saturday.
