‘Turkic Republics on 25th Anniversary of their Independence’ book has been published by Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB).

The book has been prepared in order to evaluate the processes that Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan had gone through for 25 years from 1991 to 2016. In the work, the recent history of these countries and also their economic and cultural developments, in addition to their relations with Turkey, has been examined. All of these sections have been written by expert academicians of each country.

The book is consisted of seven sections. The first section Republic of Azerbaijan is dealt by Prof. Dr. Nesrin Sarıahmetoğlu and Prof. Dr. Okan Yeşilot while the second section Republic of Kazakhstan is discussed by Prof. Dr. Abdulvahap Kara, third section Republic of Kyrgyzstan by Dr. Fahri Solak, fourth section by Republic of Uzbekistan by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kanlıdere, fifth section by Republic of Turkmenistan Prof. Dr. Kemal Özcan, sixth section Russian Federation Prof. Dr. İlyas Kemaloğlu and the last section 25-year Cooperation in Turkish World is argued in detail by Prof. Dr. Abdulvahap Kara.

The book, prepared on the occasion of 25th year of Turkic Republics’ Independence, will be a beneficial book for the ones who want to know Turkish World better and to understand the developments and, also for the policy makers. The book is 360 pages. The editing of the book has been made by Prof. Dr. Abdulvahap Kara and Dr. Fahri Solak.
