The saint of Macedonian Orthodox Church and the protector of Ohrid city Saint Clement of Ohrid Day was celebrated with the hosting of Ohrid Municipality in the dates of 5-8 December 2018.
The celebration ceremony which was held in Ohrid was attended by Mayor of Ohrid Jovan Stojanoski, TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak, member of parliaments of Macedonia, diplomatic representatives of many other countries, political party leaders and several guests.
Within the framework of the celebration ceremony of Saint Clement of Ohrid Day which took four days, bunch of flowers was left to the statue of Saint Clement. There was organized a big sacrament in the temple of Plaoshnik. In Robevci Museum, a new book named “Literacy in Ohrid” by Professor Dimitar Pandev was introduced. A photograph exhibition titled ‘Traces of Saints Cyril and Metodius’ was opened in Urania-Manu House. Concert performances were held. Talks about Saint Clement were made.
Moreover, the anthology of the Ohrid songs was introduced during the celebrations. Anthology of poetry named “Come Ohrid” which was composed by Professor Dimitar Pandev was published by poet Slave Gjorgjo Dimoski and Ohrid Municipality.
